The Birth of Blues Girl Magic Tour

HOW A NIGHT OF WINE, LAUGHTER, AND NOSTALGIA SPARKED A MUSICAL MOVEMENT

In 2016, a bunch of die-hard roots music fans—artists, investors, and musicians—started tossing around the idea of bringing back the all-female traveling revue. Over a bottle of fine vintage wine, the conversation just started flowing. They swapped stories about Billie Holiday, Memphis Minnie, Bessie Brown, Ma Rainey, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, diving into tales of the Harlem Renaissance, the Roaring ’20s, Prohibition, and legendary spots like the Alhambra Ballroom. Between laughter and some very questionable attempts at old-school dance moves, a sudden realization hit them—this wasn’t just a fun night of reminiscing. From that lively, wine-fueled gathering, Blues Girl Magic was born.

Each tour showcases three powerhouse roots music artists—whether established stars or rising talents—delivering a mix of original songs and classic covers, all backed by a high-energy live band. For Three electrifying hours, audiences are treated to a stunning display of diverse musical styles, each artist bringing their own unique flair to the stage.

But the magic doesn’t stop there! Along this multi-city journey, expect surprise guest performers, a wildly entertaining master of ceremonies, mesmerizing dancers, live visual art, food trucks or an open kitchen, varied local vendors, and even a resident tattoo artist...all women...all the time. Every night is a whirlwind of soulful music, infectious laughter, and pure enchantment—an unforgettable experience wrapped in passion, playfulness, and just the right touch of whimsy.

Empowering Women, On and Off the Stage
